Moscone has several lounges and seating areas for attendees to enjoy during your event.
These areas take advantage of our lovely, light filled public spaces by offering areas to sit, charge devices, and enjoy the center between sessions.
Moscone North Lobby – tucked into a cozy corner in the North Lobby this lounge allows attendees to step away while still being in the mix as they watch city life on the sidewalks outside.
Moscone South Level 2 by Room 201 – steps away from session rooms this lounge area gives attendees a place to continue the networking and conversations that are so important at in-person events.
Upper Mezzanine – This small lounge located in the Upper Mezzanine on the west side of the public space is the perfect for those looking for a private area to check emails or make a quick phone call between sessions.
South Level 2 Terrace & South Level 3 Terrace – several seating areas are available on both terraces facing Howard Street to allow attendees to enjoy fresh air and sunlight throughout the day.
We hope that all events will be able to utilize the furniture in these spaces – feel free to make them your own with décor and other accents. Should you need to move these furniture pieces there will be additional costs incurred.
Rearranging furniture in the same location
- This is not available for North Lobby, South Level 2, or the Upper Mezzanine Privacy Lounge as these areas have electrical running to most of the furniture.
- Terraces
- Available to clients using the terraces for sponsorships or other activations only. Cost below includes moving the furniture either within the same terrace or moving it out of the way for installation of activation and then moving it again for dismantle of activation.
- Furniture rearrangement on the terraces must be scheduled in advance with your Event Manager.
- South Level 2 Terrace – cost is $1,500 or 10% of sponsorship fee – whichever is greater
- South Level 3 Terrace – cost is $3,000 or 10% of sponsorship fee – whichever is greater
Removing furniture from a location
- All removal of furniture from a location must be scheduled in advance with your Event Manager. All work to be performed by Moscone staff.
- Client is responsible for arranging, at client cost, a location to store furniture – either in a storage area within the venue or a trailer provided by the GSC at loading dock or off-site. Furniture may not be re-purposed in another area of the venue.
- Costs quoted are inclusive of removing furniture & electrical, moving to storage area, and re-installing furniture and electrical at end of event.
- North Lobby - $15,000
- South Level 2 - $15,000
- Upper Mezzanine - $10,000
- South Level 2 Terrace - $8,000
- South Level 3 Terrace - $12,000
