Smoking, including vaping and e-cigarettes, is not permitted anywhere within The Moscone Center, including back- of-house areas and loading docks.

California state law prohibits smoking within 20 feet of main entrances, exits, and operable windows of all state and city buildings including The Moscone Center. The San Francisco Department of Public Health will conduct random inspections and will fine individuals and their employer for violations of this policy.

All Contractors are obligated to advise their employees and to enforce the “No Smoking” regulations while in The Moscone Center.

If necessary, ASM will assign security personnel to control smoking at the expense of the respective employer. ASM reserves the right to remove any person not complying with this policy.
