It is the Moscone Center's policy to provide safety railings on ALL risers set by the venue, regardless of height. 

Requests to remove railings must be sent in writing and the licensee must sign a waiver releasing the Moscone Center from any and all liability from injury and damage associated with the structure in question. 

Requests made after stages have been set may incur additional labor fees to remove the railings. 

Additionally, in accordance with Cal/OSHA guidelines, any vendors providing stages in the venue shall provide safety railings on the back AND sides of any platform higher than 30 inches. Clients that do not want to provide safety railing will be required to sign a liability waiver.
